The Poison Help line The Poison Help line, 1-800-222-1222, connects callers to their local poison center anywhere in the United States and territories. Callers receive free, confidential, expert medical advice 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year from toxicology specialists, including nurses, pharmacists, physicians and poison information providers. America's Poison Centers and the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) work together to ensure the number and poison centers are used appropriately. PoisonHelp.org In 2017, America's Poison Centers launched a new interactive online tool, www.poisonhelp.org, to provide quick, expertly vetted answers to questions about poisoning -- the leading cause of injury-related death in America.
